Equality, Gender, and European Integration
The project “Equality, Gender, and European Integration” will be implemented by KGSC within the frame of the Kvinna till Kvinna regional program for the Western Balkans; “Strengthening Women’s Rights, Participation and Influence in the Western Balkans” - aimed at strengthening women’s rights and women’s equal participation in decision-making through the existing EU accession processes.
The program is specifically tailored to deal with the challenges that the region is facing in the
years to come; such as the EU accession, and to ensure that strong women’s rights perspectives are integrated into the processes.
The project aims to achieve:
- Improved gender perspective in EU accession documents.
- Increased engagement of women’s organisations in the EU Integration process.
- Informed and engaged society in Gender and EU Integration discourse
