On 23rd and 24th of May, Human rights defenders from the region, including KGSC, gathered in Tirana in a two-day capacity-building workshop organized by the Albanian Helsinki Committee and the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF). The event aimed to enhance the skills of human rights defenders in the region and promote a safe environment for their work.

The crucial role of human rights defenders is part of the wider framework of actors and instruments providing oversight and criticism to government in any healthy democracy.
