We march, we don’t celebrate!

On 8th of March, International Women’s Day, we Protest, we don’t celebrate! Because we have not yet achieved social and gender justice. Therefore, we don’t have a reason to celebrate. We oppose and fight against unemployment and poverty, as forms of structural violence exercised upon citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.

On 8th of March (Thursday) starting from 12:00 we will gather at the Zahir Pajaziti square, to overtake the main streets of the capital and once again show our local and global communities that we will fight despite the challenges for a diverse and equal society.

THE MARCH does not end here. We will continue to STRIKE, to PROTEST and POLITICALLY RESIST the patriarchal and social injustices.

Women and everyone else who feels gender oppressed, will STRIKE and refuse to work. We will come out the kitchens, universities, schools, bedrooms, factories, hospitals and offices. We will STRIKE for all the extra paid and unpaid work we do.
