On December 6, 2017, Kosovar Centre for Gender StudiesIn collaboration with AAB Collegeorganized a discussion with students about the involvement of women and young people in decision-making and political processes. This event was organized within the framework of the EU-supported project “Young Women Engaged in Political Parties and Political Processes”
The speakers were:
- Luljeta Demolli, Executive Director, Kosovar Centre for Gender Studies
- Mybera Shala Mustafa, Lecturer at AAB and former Deputy Minister of Health
- Genta Naked, Project Coordinator, Kosovar Centre for Gender Studies
- Spring Lipovica, Senior Program Manager, Political Parties Program, National Democratic Institute in Kosovo
- Ukshini Kosovar, Coordinator for the Faculty of Economics, AAB College
This open and interactive discussion discussed the challenges of women and young people in decision-making and political positions, as well as their low number in leadership.
